Happy Halloween! Did you go trick or treating? Or was there a local fireworks display? We here at Head Squeeze decided to do things a bit different and blow up a few pumpkins! Using a demo made famous by the awesome Steve Spangler we used calcium carbide to blow up a few pumpkins. When you add water to calcium carbide it gives off the gas acetylene. Acetylene is a highly flammable and powerful gas. In the days of yore when James May was young it was used in the mines.
